D&S MANUFACTURING QUALIFIES FOR DEVELOPMENT INCENTIVES

Black River Falls, Wis. — Governor Jim Doyle, on behalf of the Wisconsin Department of Commerce, named D&S Manufacturing as eligible to receive a $250,000 state income tax credit through the Western Wisconsin Technology Zone. This program provides incentives to new and growing businesses in the state’s high technology sectors. Tax credits can be earned through capital investments, job creation and any increase in property taxes paid directly by the certified business.

According to Michael Dougherty, President of D&S Manufacturing, “Our company is in the midst of an aggressive $6.4 million facility expansion plan designed to contain costs and boost productivity. This substantial funding opportunity allows us to direct essential capital toward workforce development, which will, in turn, provide the framework to address our future growth objectives,” he elaborated.
