D&S MANUFACTURING NAMED SUPPLIER OF THE YEAR BY PARKSON CORPORATION
Black River Falls, Wis. — D&S Manufacturing was recently named Supplier Of The Year by Florida based Parkson Corporation. In accepting the honor, President Michael Dougherty commented, “The entire D&S team is very proud to be the first recipient of this prestigious award, which recognizes our commitment to fostering long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships with our customers.”
According to Brian Lykins, Director of Materials, D&S has achieved a level of excellence that Parkson will utilize to evaluate the performance of all suppliers. For example, at a time when cost-containment plays a pivotal role in project management, D&S developed an innovative pricing tool to combat rising steel prices. In addition, the manufacturer skillfully solved the challenges associated with Parkson’s rapidly evolving requirements by developing a scheduling system that provides flexibility in both the manufacture and shipment of orders.
