D&S Installs New Marvel 2000 Series Vertical Tilt-Frame Band Saw

To increase efficiency in the Fabrication Department, we have installed a new Marvel 2000 Series Vertical Tilt-Frame Band Saw.  A team of employee-owners researched available options and chose the Marvel unit as the best fits to our needs.
This heavy-duty unit features an automatic bar feed with a 48” stroke length, which can be repositioned for longer lengths.  Another timesaver is the tilting column which allows miters up to 60% left and right of vertical without the need to reposition between cuts.  Angles can be set manually or automatically through the Marvel PC3 controller.
Operators appreciate the user friendly controls on a 10” color touch screen.  The fully programmable controls automatically set the feeds and speeds, drawing on its material library, or they can be input manually based on specific project needs.
